Suye Hill above Karama Lodge and Spa in Arusha Tanzania Africa

Just above ‘Karama’ is Suye Hill Forest Reserve – a protected area of indigenous forest, which at the moment is changing its status into National Park. We are pleased to say that ‘Karama’ assists the Arusha Municipal Council in the protection of this area by sponsoring anti-poaching rangers – ensuring that this natural beauty is around for years to come. Our security guards patrol daily in the forest, in order to stop people from cutting the trees and building illegally.
